Eddie, don't feel bad about picking the Steelers over the Jags this week. I couldn't find anyone who had any faith in them. It made for an exciting smash mouth game though. I can't help but think that Del Rio used some of that to help them get up for the game. I was impressed at how they played in the 4th quarter. Leftwich seemed to lose his composure when they needed him to be a leader, Garrard just stands in there and gives a sense of confidence and inevitability. Fun game!
Oh and, how about the Jags being in the best division in football? They'd be number 3 in the AFC and ready to clinch a division win if they were in the North or West. All 4 teams will win again today. (assuming Indy can hold off the Raiders)
Honestly, Dave, I think they are #3 in the AFC. I'd rank the AFC --- Pats, Colts, Jags, Steelers---
I wasn't able to watch the game since they televised the Pats game here, but I followed it on NFL.com and it sure looked like they did their homework on Pitt. I just couldn't pick against the Steelers having never lost a home game this year.
